Designing houses has become an obsession to me - I love bringing people's personalities and tastes into their homes. My approach to design is simple: create beautiful spaces which compliment their surroundings and, most importantly, work in everyday life.

Keep It Fun

Architecture should be playful. It can easily be taken too seriously and we end up losing the subtleties in design. It is these nuances which change how we experience a space and how it makes us feel.

To Appreciate Individuality

Everyone lives differently and I want to create a space which suits you. Whether you prefer calm and neutral or bold and colourful, I love thinking about light, materials and textures. Quality construction, careful craftsmanship, and cleverly considered details make an enormous impact.

Enhance A Sense of Place 

I believe architectural design should reinforce its local character, not by copying what is already there, but by making reference in an original way. I find it sad to see 'copy and paste' new build homes which look the same no matter where they are in the country. 

Use The Site

The best designs are the ones on difficult sites, taking the challenges and constraints and using them as a design tool to create a truly unique building which becomes a part of its surrounding. 

I have over 10 years experience working on bespoke high-end residential projects providing architectural services through to project management and interior design. 

My architectural career began in a small traditional practice working on heritage homes including Listed Buildings and Scheduled Monuments where I could pursue my passion for detail and bespoke designs. 

Following this, I gained several years of experience working for a luxury home builder. Acting as Project Architect, I was tasked with designing and managing projects from initial sketch scheme through to complete build including full interior fit outs. It gave me valuable first-hand experience tracking construction costs, procuring materials and packages of work along with managing the build.
